| These files are the old by-laws (April 1997) and the proposed new by-laws (July 2007). The changes are important to the operation of the | ||||
| association. What we are doing with these changes is try to bring the by-laws into alignment with how we actually prefer to operate during | ||||
| the entire year, though the changes do center on operations during training and the football season, proper. We spent much of the | ||||
| 7/28/07 meeting discussing the differences between the old version and the proposed (May 2007) version. We also discussed why the board | ||||
| feels adoption of the new, and further revised version is important to the on-going operation of the association. Tomorrow, Sunday 7/29/07, we | ||||
| will vote on whether to adopt the new (July 2007) version. It is very important that all members be well aware of the proposed changes and then | ||||
| be prepared to vote on them on 7/29. The July 2007 version is the same as the May 2007 version except as modified in the 7/28 meeting in | ||||
| light of the general discussion held during that meeting. All such additional changes are highlighted in a blue font in the document. | ||||
| The 7/29 meeting will be held at the old Gresham Park Recreation Center at 3113 Gresham Road, Atlanta, GA 30316-4309. | ||||
| Meeting time is 3 PM. Don't be late; we'll be voting on the latest changes to the by-laws (July 2007) early in the meeting. | ||||
